Lucky Water and Prosperity Affirmations
I’m not big on most cheesy holistic or new age products with positive mantras on them. It’s not my style. While I do meditate and recite afformations and affirmations I like to make my own. I have 3×5 cards on my vision board with my own personal messages on them that resonate and speak directly to me. My vision board is between my card-table-desk and the fridge so I walk by it every time I go into the kitchen. It’s effective – feed my body, feed my mind. However, I had an experience that changed my mind – at least a little bit. I am not sure if I am more open to positive-thinking products as a whole. Or if I have just stumbled on some really great ones recently.
A couple of weeks ago I was at the grocery store walking down the beverage aisle and I spotted the Aquamantra water bottles.
There was something about the simplicity of the packaging that really spoke to me and decided to buy one. I had three mantras to choose from, “I am Healthy”, “I am Loved”, and “I am Lucky.” Since I am actively reprogramming my mind for prosperity consciousness, I figured the “I am Lucky” mantra would work well.
According to the label on the bottle the water is enhanced with the energy of luck. With every sip you are supossed to recite the words, “I am lucky” – On the side of the bottle are the words, “I have always bee lucky.” So, for added bonus luck I recited both mantras together.
I have to say that I did start to feel lucky everytime I took a sip. I resonated with the look of the label and the clearness of the plastic bottle. I came to really love my “lucky” piece of plastic. I loved it so much that when I drank the “lucky” water I refilled it with new distilled water. I decided that any water that was put in the “lucky” water bottle would be enhanced with the same lucky energy. I refilled it a few more times and carried with me always.
My sister started gravitating toward the bottle and I ended up buying her one because she was planning on stealing mine. She loves her “lucky” water bottle (probably more than me) and puts it by her bedside refilling it with distilled water as it runs out. My bottle was so popular that my nephew decided he wanted it. It made him feel good to have it on him so I gave it to him. He’s fourteen and going through puberty. He needs a lot more luck than I do. Puberty can be brutal.
The Aquamantra water bottle is only supossed to be used once. I don’t think that they intended for future, repetitive use. However, they are durable and they don’t leave a plastic taste in the water if you reuse them.
Next time I go to the grocery store I am definately getting a new lucky bottle. I don’t know why the Aquamantra water bottles are so attractive. I still haven’t figured it out, but they do seem to present a reflective positivity that makes you want to keep drinking the water. Without a doubt, I can say that I do feel more lucky. A lot of positive things are happening to me and around me. A bit of kizmet that feels well…lucky. Perhaps it was the power of suggestions or the power of belief but I can honestly say that the “lucky water” did its job. Viva Aquamantra!
Oh, and if you haven’t read about afformations yet, you definately should. It’s a great alternative to affirmations. I use both.

The New Year
The holiday season is finally over. From November to December is a time of equal amounts of family bonding, sweet moments and stress.
This year I didn’t have the funds I usually do. So, I didn’t celebrate Christmas in the manner I am accustomed. When I got divorced my ex husband gained custody of our beautiful fake tree with the pretty sparkly lights at the tips. All of my ornaments are with the tree.
Luckily, my ex husband and I are on good terms. So, I will be getting my ornaments back. There are some made from my son and they have sentimental value. As for the tree I will say goodbye. Fake trees are an easy buy.
Even without the tree and my ornaments Christmas would not be the same this year. With the new custody agreement I get my son for Thanksgiving and his father has him for Christmas. It was my decision to have it that way since Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday (besides my Birthday.)
So, without funds, a Christmas tree, ornaments or a child this Christmas was looking to be pretty scarce and somewhat dissappointing. However, with a little bit of creativity and some optimism Christmas wasn’t so bad. Presents and cards were sent to the appropriate people. I spent the day with my family cooking a feast and eating so much I had to be rolled out the front door.
Okay, I didn’t eat THAT much but I could have and I wanted to. The food was made with love and I was in good company. Though, my son wasn’t here to celebrate with me I still had a good time.
This year was tough. I felt like everything I touched turned to ash. It was the year of false starts. Also, this was the year of letting go. I was forced to release some old habits, old wounds and set some things straight.
Next year will be different. I will be able to build this year and the money will come in generously. My slate is clean. Or at least as much as it can be.
Though, I will buy a new tree and get my ornaments back. Though, I will have money to buy more and lavish presents on those I love. I will always remember this year because I realized that those who love me are there unconditionally. That I have true friends and family.
That is something that I will cherish forever.
I don’t make New Year’s resolutions. It seems a lot of pressure to live up to. I have my vision board and my short term, midterm and long term goals to remind myself of what I hope to achieve. I like to see how things progress naturally.
In February will be the start of the Tiger Chinese New Year. The energy of the Tiger will surge forward in great bursts. So, there will be progress this year for better or worse. I am excited to see how it will turn out.
Cheers to lessons learned. Cheers to the New Year. May it be prosperous and success and full of love.
